Who we are

We Dance Country USA Foundation Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization out of Marietta, GA.  Our founders, Charles Jones and Nicole Wardell became competitive professional partners on the country and western dance circuits, in 2015. As their dance partnership evolved, they soon realized they both shared a passion for helping youth and newcomer dancers in their sport. Dance can be an expensive sport and as they donated their personal time and money it became apparent that to help more people, they needed more help.

Nicole wrote the creed that would help define how they feel about country dance and the feeling of community that they hope to share with all the dancers they come across.

And from there they continued to define their vision for the organization

When they first started dancing together, they decided instead of starting their own “competitive team” that they would work on an idea to grow the sport, by assisting anyone that was new to country dancing or experienced dancer hoping to learn country dance styles. that was interested in adding country dancing to their competitive dancing.

501(c)3 non-profit organization, approved by the Internal Revenue Service, is authorized to solicit and receive donations from the public to support its promotional and educational programs.

Our goal for the 2023-2024 dance season is to raise between

$8,000-$12,000 to provide scholarships and buckles for the 2024 UCWDC World Championships in the Youth and Newcomer divisions.

We Dance Country USA is based on the idea that all dancers that love country music and dancing can unite under one common creed. It is our hope that if you wear or see someone wearing a We Dance Country jacket or shirt you will know that we all are a part of an extended dance family.

Our Creed

Our mission is to grow the country and western dance competitions by introducing and educating newcomers and youth to start and continue dancing on the country circuits. As well as helping provide training and/or support for professional dancers that have never danced country. Therefore, keeping the art of country and western dance prospering and not becoming a lost American art form.

If we do not actively encourage our dancers through educational support and scholarship funds they will just move on to the next hobby.
